We came home, and Jared and Maddie went to work painting the deck:
I took our lovely 10.19 pounds of strawberries:
And turned them into 24 half-pints of jam:
Then we cleaned up our mess, cleaned up the kids, and I ran to Wal-mart and Stop & Shop to support my new hobby. PHEW! We're all tuckered out!

Good job. I used to can with my mom when I was younger, but I haven't done it in years. Looks like fun- but not enough to actually do it myself yet ;)
What a productive day! I like to think that there is balance in the universe and you were making up for all we DIDN'T do that day. And your coupon-ness continues to impress me and make me feel tired all at the same time. Will you be my personal shopper?
