Maddie had been working on her math book from school, but was unmotivated to finish. I promised her that as soon as she would finish, we'd go to New Jersey to see the store from the Cake Boss. Over the last week, Maddie finished something like 60 pages of math work. Clearly I had found the proper motivational tool. But, now I was stuck!
We asked one of Maddie's friends to come along on our trip. So, we drove two and a half hours to Hoboken, New Jersey.
Before we headed down to the bakery, we stopped in for lunch at McDonald's so that we wouldn't fall apart while trying to get in the store. We had heard that there was often a line....
