Today after school, I met with our Daisy troop. Our task was to "Make the world a better place." We decided that we would plant flowers at the school to help make it more beautiful. The school does not have a budget for landscaping, so the locals put together the money and time to beautify the school. They really do an excellent job! This was our small contribution to the cause.Plus, the girls actually get a second badge for taking pictures of the event and submitting it to the Girl Scouts. Our little Daisies are going to be among the most decorated girls ever! They've already earned most of their petals, several patches and we'll start the new award system next year. So cool! Way to go girls!
